"Colorado" head coach Jared Bednar said Russian forward Valeri Nichushkin could return to the team's lineup within the next few weeks.

"He [Nichushkin] will be back in a couple of weeks, it will be great to see him back in the lineup. I think you'll notice how much he's changed over the summer."

The match between "Colorado" and "Washington" will take place on 16 November and will start at 5:00 Moscow time.
In May, the 29-year-old Russian was suspended for at least six months to undergo the third stage of the NHL player assistance programme. On 4 November it became known that Nichushkin was allowed to train with the "Evellanche".
Last season, the Russian forward noted 28 scored pucks and 25 goal assists in 54 regular-season NHL games. In the Stanley Cup draw Nichushkin scored 10 (9+1) points in 8 games.
