SKA forward Evgeny Kuznetsov shared his opinion on Washington forward Alexander Ovechkin's pursuit of Wayne Gretzky's goal record in the NHL.

“I wish he would score and be done already, enjoy life in peace. He has a family, children. They're torturing the old man, they've already missed a quicker shot, so that he would score quietly, and that's it. Everyone would have clapped and rejoiced together,” - Kuznetsov is quoted by the press service of Zenit basketball club.

Ovechkin, 39, has played for the club since 2005. With 853 regular-season NHL goals, the Russian is 42 goals behind Wayne Gretzky (894), the all-time record holder.
